Mini Vacation to Williamsburg

This past weekend, we took a little vacation to Williamsburg, Virginia.  We spent one day at the Jamestown settlement, where the English first settled and where Pocahantas lived.  The museum included a large building with a great exhibit on the history of American settlement.  They also had replicas of the Powhatan Indian dwellings and the English ships.

 Then we spent Sunday and Monday at Great Wolf Lodge, enjoying the indoor waterpark.  Maddie was initially a little quiet while taking in all the people and activity, but eventually she started enjoying it.  She liked the little slides and the lazy river.  We had a lot of fun!
