March 2013 - Trip to Wisconsin and Easter

After a 6 month absence, I'm finally finding the time to post some updates.  It's amazing looking back 6 months and realizing how much Maddie has changed.  She is such a full-fledged toddler now and no longer a baby.

To go back to March, we got our first measurable snow and got Maddie out to play in the slush.  It was really cold, but she liked it. 

 

And in mid-March, we all went to Madison, WI to visit with family and celebrate Nate's sister with a bridal shower.  We all got to meet Maddie's cousin, Genevieve, for the first time!  She is one year younger than Madeline and was so cute!  Also, there was lots of snow on the ground for Maddie to bundle up and play in!

It was time for Easter after we got back to Virginia.  Maddie had a darling dress made by her Gramma and received a full basket from the Easter Bunny.  She wasn't so sure about picking up the Easter eggs, especially since she didn't want to walk on the grass, but she played along a little bit!
