It has been a busy summer, so I'm rather behind on blog posts. Here's the first of a few to come.
On July 4, Maddie and I flew to Madison, Wisconsin for her first trip to Gramma and Grandpa's house. Nate joined us a few days later and we all stayed through July 14. Aunt Lindsay and Aunt Valerie were also there for our visit.
The Jensens threw a nice Fourth of July picnic for all of their family and friends. It was also the first time that Nate's aunts, uncles and cousins got to meet Madeline.

We spent one day at the Circus World Museum in Baraboo, where the Ringling Brothers started their circus. We all enjoyed the exhibits, magic show and animals.

We went to the Wisconsin Dells one day. It is a city full of waterparks and tourist attractions. We ended up taking a boat tour of the dells, which are huge rock formations, like slabs stacked along the Wisconsin River.

| Maddie slept through most of it! |
We also went to the zoo and children's museum one day. We are really looking forward to taking Maddie back when she can run around and explore the fun exhibits at the museum.

Also during our trip, Maddie was introduced to her great-grandparents.
