Gramma Jensen was in town to stay with Maddie and Aunt Valerie arrived later on the 23rd. It was fun to have visitors at the hospital. Maddie got to meet her little brother, but was not too interested in him! She was much more interested in the buttons that moved my bed!
Micah and I went home on Christmas Eve and were so glad to be there for Maddie to experience Christmas morning. But more on Christmas later.
Micah had some darling portraits done to capture his cuteness. Here are a few favorites.
I took along some engineering books and construction gear to represent me and Nate and the photographer managed to capture Micah smiling with them.
Micah was off the charts at his one month check-up. He weighed 12lb 11oz (95%) and was 23" long which was above the 100 percentile! He is a growing boy! We are so lucky; he has been sleeping through the night, 6 or more hours, since 5 weeks old. Most nights he's actually sleeping over 9 hours at one time!

And now Micah is 2 months old already! He measured 24.5" and 14lb 9oz, both around the 97th percentile. He is still sleeping great at night and spends lots of time in his swing napping. He is quick to smile at mommy and try to talk back to her. Micah is such a sweetie and is making it much less stressful to have two kids than I was expecting. Maddie has been really good too, so I am very lucky. She is so cute telling Micah "Morning, Buddy" when she sees him with his eyes open.
