Micah's arrival on the 23rd was the perfect Christmas gift and worked out perfectly with our holiday plans. Gramma and Valerie were here for all of the excitement on Christmas morning. However, I think the adults were more excited because Maddie didn't really know what Christmas was.
She liked her new kitchen from Santa and little table and chairs from Grammy, but didn't care much to open the other presents. She ended up opening a few at a time throughout the day and was thrilled when she saw all of the Dora the Explorer things!

Since our guests were all staying with us, we could stay in all day and play, cook and rest. Grandpa arrived for our delicious holiday dinner.

It was a great low-key Christmas. We were so thankful for the help with cooking, playing with Maddie, holding Micah and keeping us company. Here are a few more pictures from December.
