Maddie liked the beach, but seemed to enjoy getting wet in her regular clothes much more than in her swimsuits! And she loved taking walks on the beach and throwing shells in the ocean. It was so great to watch her having so much fun!

Topsail Beach, NC
In August, we spent a week at Topsail Beach, North Carolina with our friends, the Hutts, and their family. We had a beautiful 8 bedroom house on the beach filled with 10 adults and 6 kids. Maddie loved having the kids around and Nate and I enjoyed having the other adults around for cards and games at night! Plus, it was the first trip to an Atlantic Ocean beach for all of us and we were really impressed with it. The beach was not very crowded where we were and the water is so much warmer than the Pacific.
