Nate's sister, Valerie, got married to Mitch in Minneapolis in July, so we took an 18 hour family road trip to get there and back. We pushed through in 2 long days of driving and Madeline was a pretty good passenger.
Here are some pictures of us all dolled up for the wedding. Maddie was so good for all of the festivities and loved the spotlights on the dance floor when the music started! And we tried the photobooth, but Maddie would only stare at herself in the screen!

We stayed on for about 5 days after the wedding and spent time with Gramma, Grandpa, Aunt Lindsay, Uncle Gabe and baby Genevieve. We walked to the park almost daily and visited the Mill City Museum.

And Maddie had fun at the Chicago Children's Museum on our trip back home. That was the 4th of July, so Nate and I watched fireworks on tv and were thankful to avoid the major crowds and traffic on the streets below our hotel window. It was a fun trip!
