10 Months Old

I can't believe Maddie just turned 10 months!  This year is going so fast! 

Maddie had her 9 month check-up last month and was 29" long and 20 lb 4 oz.  The doctor said that she was a good weight for her height and was hitting all of her milestones.  She is so busy climbing onto everything and she's a very good eater.  So far, she has not spit anything back at us!   Also, around 9 months, she learned to clap, so that has been fun. 

 

In late October, Maddie and I made another trip to Phoenix.  She enjoyed playing with her cousins and getting to see the rest of the family.

  We also enjoyed a playdate with my longtime friend, Risa, and her 20 month old daughter. 

 

We were back in Virginia for Maddie's first Halloween.  She had an adorable Dorothy costume that Gramma Jensen made for her, so Nate and I decided to dress as the Scarecrow and the Wicked Witch of the West.  We took Maddie trick-or-treating with our friends.  I'm sure she had no idea what was going on, but she was up for the ride!

 

 

 

 

Here are some other highlights of our 10 month old. 

 

As you can see, Maddie has her bottom two front teeth and her
top left front just popped through but isn't visible yet. 

She sleeps great and loves to have her pacifiers all around her. 

Maddie has discovered the dishwasher and really likes it!

She picks out her favorite books and...

sits down to read them!

And unintentionally, we had a twin day, wearing matching pick tops and dark jeans!

Maddie also took 3 steps on her own this week, so she'll be walking soon! 
I hope we can keep up with her!

Next week, we head to Wisconsin for Thanksgiving.  It might be cold, but it will be lots of fun!
